Hepatitis
DESCRIPTION
Hepatitis is an inflammation of the liver. The three most common types of viral
hepatitis (A, B, and C) afflict over 500,000 people in the U.S. each year and millions
worldwide.
SIGNS/SYMPTONS
Many of the symptoms of both acute and chronic viral hepatitis are similar to each
other. The most notable symptoms are fatigue, general discomfort, loss of appetite,
nausea, vomiting, aching muscles, sore joints, and jaundice. Acute hepatitis may
also present fever, dark urine, and pale stools. In chronic hepatitis, you may see
swelling of the abdomen (ascites) or spider veins as well as pain or tenderness
in upper right abdomen. Women may experience amenorrhea, acne, and hormonal imbalances.
CAUSE
Hepatitis is usually caused by a virus or sometimes from toxic agents. The hepatitis
A virus is spread primarily through contact with fecal matter or blood, usually
through ingestion of contaminated food. The hepatitis B virus is transmitted through
contaminated blood or blood products. It commonly occurs among injecting drug users
who share the same needles. Hepatitis C remains in the blood for years and accounts
for a large percentage of cirrhosis, liver failure, and liver cancer cases. Its
main mode of transmission is through blood transfusions prior to the implementation
of Q.C.S. and possibly sexual intercourse, but this is less common.
FOR YOUR GROWTH IDEAS AND TREATMENT GOALS
There are many ways to support the liver nutritionally and give some relief to those
suffering from hepatitis. The suggested enzymes include a digestive formula for
the digestion of carbohydrates, fats, and proteins; a protease product taken between
meals to assist the liver in detoxifying the blood and improve circulation and immune
response; and a probiotic. Other very successful suggestions include an inflammatory
control product, a liver detox product, and a viral detox product to address the
specific conditions related with viral hepatitis. Based on feedback both from patients
who chose traditional therapy as well as those choosing only alternative therapy,
the results were favorable in both cases.
Enzyme therapy balances the body in several ways. Enzymes work to improve digestion
and nutrient acquisition. Enzymes support the immune system by building healthy
organs and blood by reducing levels of toxicity from bacteria, viruses, parasites,
heavy metals, pesticides, and radiation poisoning.
**It is important to address the patient’s diet, exercise, and lifestyle on an individual
basis and in regard to body type (see Digestive Balance Protocol). Support
products are recommended as needed based on the patient’s condition. Enzyme therapy
can be used safely in conjunction with other medical therapies.

NUTRITIONAL PROTOCOL (for Hepatitis)
A well-balanced diet based on a person’s biochemical individualism is extremely
important for the patient dealing with Hepatitis. Drinking liquid VIBE micro-nutrient
with over 100 minerals, vitamins, and herbs is recommended on a daily basis. It
is suggested to avoid alcohol, caffeine, carbonated beverages, over-the-counter
medications, or any other chemicals that tax the liver. If possible, eating organic
foods is best and drinking adequate amounts of spring water daily will assist in
removing toxins via the kidneys and colon. Taking VIBE and having Colonics may be
recommended to assist with a detoxification program.
