IceWave patches are extremely powerful tools for the temporary
relief of minor aches and pains.
What has been found through extensive testing is that HOW
you use the patches and WHERE you place them will make
all of the difference between how much pain relief an individual
will experience with this product. Think of this as an
electrical circuit. If we have a lamp and there is electricity
flowing in the circuit then the lamp will light up; If there is
no electricity then the lamp will not light.
The
same is true with the human body.
In Eastern medicine pain is believed to be a blockage of energy
flow. Once the normal flow of energy can be established then
pain can be relieved.
IceWave patches should be moved as instructed below so that the
maximum benefit in pain relief can be achieved by the user.
Also, make sure that you are well hydrated for best results.
STEP 1
First
determine the specific place on the body where there is the most
or highest degree of pain. In the illustration the pain is
located on the left shoulder.
Now
rate the pain on a scale of from 0 to 10. Zero will be NO PAIN
and 10 will be the level that the pain is at when you start.
STEP 2
Next,
place a WHITE IceWave patch on the sternum (directly at the
center of the chest).
STEP 3
Now
place a TAN IceWave patch directly on the point where you have
the most pain. Wait about 10 seconds. Now rate the pain again
on a scale of from zero to 10. Has there been any change in the
level of pain? How about mobility? You may need to move the
shoulder around to determine the level of difference.
At
this point some people may have experienced complete relief of
pain. Other people will have had a minor reduction in pain. If
your pain is not completely gone or has not been substantially
reduced then go on to STEP 4.
STEP 4
Now
move the WHITE IceWave patch from the center of the chest to
ABOVE the pain. If this were a clock, then think of the TAN
patch as being the center of the clock and the WHITE patch as
being moved to the 12 O’Clock position.
Again, wait about 10 seconds with the WHITE patch at this new
position and then determine on a scale of from 0 to 10 at what
level the pain is at. If the pain is gone then leave the
patches at this location. If the pain has not been
substantially reduced then move on to STEP 5.
STEP 5
Now
move the WHITE IceWave patch from the 12 O’Clock position to the
3 O’Clock position. Again, wait about 10 seconds with the WHITE
patch at this new position and then determine on a scale of from
0 to 10 at what level the pain is at.
If
the pain is gone then leave the patches at this location. If
the pain has not been substantially reduced then move on to STEP
6.
STEP 6
Now
move the WHITE IceWave patch from the 3 O’Clock position to the
6 O’Clock position. Again, wait about 10 seconds with the WHITE
patch at this new position and then determine on a scale of from
0 to 10 at what level the pain is at.
If
the pain is gone then leave the patches at this location. If the
pain has not been substantially reduced then move on to STEP 7.
STEP 7
Now
move the WHITE IceWave patch from the 6 O’Clock position to the
9 O’Clock position. Again, wait about 10 seconds with the WHITE
patch at this new position and then determine on a scale of from
0 to 10 at what level the pain is at.
If
the pain is gone then leave the patches at this location. If the
pain has not been substantially reduced then move on to STEP 8.
STEP 8
Now
move the WHITE patch so that it is parallel to the TAN patch.
This is called bracketing the pain. Again, wait about 10 seconds
with the WHITE patch at this new position and then determine on
a scale of from 0 to 10 at what level the pain is at.
If
the pain is gone then leave the patches at this location. If the
pain has not been substantially reduced then move on to STEP 9.
STEP 9
If
none of the above steps have worked (this would be very rare)
then repeat STEPS 4 through STEP 8, however this time apply the
WHITE patch to the area that has the most pain and move the TAN
patch around the pain.
This IceWave protocol was developed after hundreds of hours of
testing by Dr. Steven Haltiwanger, MD and has come to be known
as “The Haltiwanger Cross” from the way in which the patches are
moved around the pain.
